Rumors have been around for years alleging that momager Kris Jenner's son Rob Kardashian was struggling with substance abuse. The media have recently reported that Rob has checked himself into a rehab, but Kris said that information was “completely fabricated.” A source said to US Weekly that Kris’s son is not being treated in any kind of facility.
Some media falsely reported about Rob checking into rehab lasting 60 days, in a facility located in Palm Beach. The institution specializes in dealing with weekend alcohol and drug addictions. It was said that Rob started the program last weekend.
Rumors intensified when Rob failed to appear at Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s wedding in Florence in May 2014. He was also struggling with weight and his trouble was shown on Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Recent footage shows that Rob is obviously doing better.
Kris Jenner posted a photo of Rob being “attacked” by his sisters, with caption saying “Rob my boooooo.” Kourtney wrote “Love you rob dawggy dizzle.” In the light of recent events evolving around Kris’s ex-husband Bruce Jenner’s gender transition, Rob did not keep silent. He wrote "You have always been a role model to me and now more than ever, I look up to you."
His decision to isolate himself was documented on the reality show, with Kris thinking about staging an intervention for her son. Kim Kardashian was quite angry at her brother, saying that the entire family was making his life easy.
