Since Bruce Jenner, 65, revealed that he would be becoming a woman during his interview with Diane Sawyer, his ex-wife, Kris Jenner, 59, has been showing him a lot of support. However, this change was not always easy on Kris, and Kim Kardashian, 34, is very sympathetic to what her mother was going through.
In a sneak peek of an upcoming Keeping Up with the Kardashians episode, in which Bruce Jenner’s transition is the main focus, KUWTK: About Bruce, Kim cries when she thinks back to how her mother was dealing with the transition in the beginning, which involved Kris shedding a lot of tears as well. The clip was released by E! and it was taped prior to Bruce’s announcement. In it, Kim, Kylie and Kendall discuss the interview that is coming up with Diane.
In the clip, Kim says, “He’s going to tell his first story. At first I was like, ‘I’m totally going to cry! I’m totally going to cry!’ My throat was literally burning.” Kendall admitted that she felt similar sentiments. Kim makes sure to clarify that what makes her emotional about talking about Bruce is thinking about how her mother feels. Between tears, Kim says that she thinks about how hard it is on her mother, and how she cries all the time.
It is no surprise that Kris would be shocked and saddened by this news at first, but by now, she has become one of Bruce’s biggest supporters. He even revealed how much he loves and appreciates her in a new interview.
